New York Fashion Week: Concept Korea FW18

Since 2010, Concept Korea has been bringing Seoul’s creative ascetic to New York Fashion Week. On February 9th, the designers showcased their Fall/Winter 2018 collection at Spring Studios. Inspired by the romanticism of the 18th century, the Palace of Versailles and Marie Antoinette were pivotal inspirations to this collection. The brands that were shown were  LIE and GREEDILOUS, each showed 25 looks and they were all fabulous!   As the lights dimmed and the music began, I knew I was in for a wonderful showcase. The collection was a mix of whimsical colors, as well as greys, blacks and whites. The tailoring was perfect -with very clean lines. The ruffles and the brilliant hues brought a playfulness to the line, whereas the darker colors contrasted it amazingly.   I felt very honored to share within the Korean fashion seen at this show. I was completely in awe of every piece that graced the runway, this show was absolutely nothing less than amazing!
