New York Fashion Week: Dan Liu

When I entered the Dan Liu I was swoon by the musical selection, it was classical with a modernized mix. The runway itself had amazing lighting, which I knew would exhibit the garments gorgeously.

Dan Liu showcased his collection on February 10th at Spring Studios. Inspired by “The Spy Who Loved Me,” the collection was classical with a contemporary twist to it. Each model strolled down the runway in sunglasses, it played on the theme perfectly. The mix of fabric and textures were apparent in the collection. The outerwear of the line had beautiful pastels and the line also encapsulated  classic blacks and whites, with romantic patterns.

I enjoyed this line – the colors were amazing, the music was a clear indication of the contemporary aspects of the garments and the sunglasses that were a stylish accessory added to the theme of the collection. Very great show!
